CAL WILL FOCUS ON THE LOCAL ISSUES THAT MATTER MOST
PRISON REDEVELOPMENT SITE
As a member of the Point of the Mountain State Land Authority, Cal would be committed to working closely with local leadership to drive local tax revenue for HD 46 and ultimate long-term development success.
TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Rapid population growth has stressed our antiquated infrastructure. Cal will fight for equitable funding to support accessible infrastructure.
LAND-USE AND LOCAL CONTROL
Cal believes land-use decisions should remain in the hands of local governments and residents, including decisions about the Geneva mine expansion and development around TRAX stations (“Station Area Plans”). The power to determine the way cities develop ought to be in your hands, not the hands of a distant legislature.
PROMOTE POLICIES THAT DRIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Cal’s experience on Wall Street, as a business owner and in private equity & venture capital gives him unique perspective to advocate for pro-growth economic policies. Cal firmly believes in the economic potential of the Draper / Bluffdale area and will champion HD 46’s entrepreneurial spirit

WHY I’M RUNNING
HD 46 faces dynamic challenges—rapid population growth, congested infrastructure and government mandates. Yet, we are also positioned to seize generational opportunities, including The Point development and the expanding horizons of Silicon Slopes.
During the 2023 Draper City Council campaign, I knocked on the doors of thousands of HD 46 residents. The prominent issues that came up—the prison site development, local control and land use issues, affordable housing, economic development, infrastructure investment—are issues that demand common-sense, conservative solutions at the Capitol. Draper and the East side of Bluffdale deserve a State Representative fighting for these issues and advocating on behalf of our residents.
I’m committed to solving real problems for Draper and Bluffdale. As a parent with three young children who will experience life in our community—playing at our parks, attending our public schools, depending on our natural resources—I’m dedicated to building a future where they can flourish, contribute to our local economy, and one day, start their own families.
I care about their future and the shared future of all residents of HD 46. I will fight to protect and defend our incredible quality of life and the things that make our corner of Utah special.
Sincerely,
